This isn't out of fear
Pushing the body to the limits
The spirit
Lingers over top
And tries its very best
To prevent cellular death
Before the point in time
We are meant to guide this body to rest

Sleeping in the day time when my eyes
Are filled to the brim
Adenosine
The dreams that I have
Have pushed
In this path

I know not what I've done
But still I know
That love is the embers within the soul
That push us against
The temples in our throat

Remember me as I was
Remember me as I fell
I burdened myself without an ounce energy
Dedicated to hatred or envy
I tried to enjoy
I try to enjoy
The life I have

Family and friends surround me
Distant at times
Never lonely with the spirit
Of connection between the limits
Between human eyes
I separate the atoms
And divide them upon
My life

We try to salve the soul
Of a broken body
We try to fill to the limits
Of all that we know
Love and understanding
Forgiveness and empathy
Become all we know

Let me know when you leave
I will turn my head
Never see the body
Disappear in my eyes
The soul carries
My mind to the point
Where I
Face my God

Turn to the light
When darkness is all that you see
Turn to perceive Me
Radiating the energy
Throughout the stars
We become the stars
That illuminate the dark
